Biography

I am currently a Postdoc Researcher in the ECE department at HKUST, supervised by Professor Jun Zhang. Previously, I obtained the Ph.D degree in the EEE department from Imperial College London in 2025, supervised by Professor Deniz Gunduz, the M.S degree in the EECS department at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Ph.D->M.S, U.S visa issue) in 2022, supervised by Professor Hunseok Kim and the B.S degree in the Physics department (Class of Mathematics and Physics) at Tsinghua University in 2020 with Professor Feifei Gao as my undergraduate thesis supervisor.

My research interests lie broadly in machine learning for wireless communications. Specifically, I worked on efficient transmission of images, videos, and point clouds; compression of wireless signals; learning-based channel encoding and decoding algorithms; MIMO-OFDM system; and integrated sensing and communication systems.
