Chenghong Bian

Biography

I received the B.S degree in the Physics department at Tsinghua University and received the M.S degree in ECE department at University of Michigan (Ph.D->M.S, U.S visa issue) where I served as a GSRA supervised by Professor Hunseok Kim. I am currently a Ph.D candidate at IPC lab, EEE department, Imperial College London working as a RA supervised by Professor Deniz Gunduz.

My research interests lie broadly in machine learning for wireless communications. Specifically, I worked on efficient transmission of images, videos, and point clouds; compression of wireless signals; learning-based channel encoding and decoding algorithms; MIMO-OFDM system; and integrated sensing and communication systems.
